December 6th-7th saw mother and son duo Sharron and Liam Jordan, competing in the Archery GB National Indoor Championships.
Liam was put to a stern test, stepping up from his junior category to shoot against senior Olympians and international archers. Shooting a WA18 section Liam Ranked 71st out of 187, with a final score of 524.
Sharron competed in the Ladies 50+ and in the qualification round came 2nd but after the head-to-head was knocked out, but still ranked 8th overall.
Returning on the Sunday for the Junior Indoor Championships Liam was selected to shoot for Archery England and with Team mates Lewis Bodkin, Nicole Lagos and Imogen Flitter, they performed well to take the Gold U21 and overall Gold medals. In the Individual event Liam managed 9th place, shooting a 'Portsmouth round' scoring 542.
