Bridlington Bay Archer, Liam Jordan traveled down to Lilleshaw in Shropshire to compete in stage 1 of the Archery GB Junior series men's under 21. The Junior Archery Series is part of a five-stage national youth competition that runs between 5 May to 31 August 2024.
Liam shot well in the qualification round and ranked 12th overall.
Alas, he got knocked out in the head to head after making a super comeback from being down 4-0 down and winning through to make it a 5-5 draw. This led to a sudden death shoot off with only one arrow each... Liam scored a good 8 but his opponent made a 10, knocking him out. He ranked a creditable 9th place overall, with 4 more stages to shoot as the year progresses. Liam is on the left of the photo.
